warrick vincent bice
Warrick Bice died in a tragic drowning accident in 1988, at age 25.  He had graduated
in physics from the University of Texqas, Austin, but was deeply involved
in composing.  An accomplished violinist, he performed with the Austin
Community Orchestra and worked with the university music media lab,
utilizing synthesized sounds and midi sequencing.
  He was born in Boulder, Colorado, in 1962, the son of Amy Middleton Bice and John Avery Bice

5 PIECES FOR GUITAR
These pieces were composed in the winter of 1987 and taken to Santa Fe
as a Christmas gift for the family that year.
Some of the rhythms, especially in piece #2, were developments of complex
mathematical formulae devised for musical purposes.
