Description:  "Red Painting", approx. 4'x5', oil on canvas, by JACK BICE.  The work was painted in Boulder, Colorado, summer, 1967.  It  was last seen in Buffalo, New York, 1969.  It had been lent for safe-keeping to an acquaintance.  She was studying video art techniques at Media Studies, in Buffalo, when the artist moved to Siena, Italy for a year.  It was rumored to have been seen in an apartment in Buffalo in 1970.  The person was said to have moved later to Florida.  This was one of two Bice paintings and one Hamouda sculpture (see AMY HAMOUDA) "borrowed" by the person.
